Because essential oils are highly volatile and have small molecules, they can be quickly absorbed by the body and penetrate the body quickly Organs, and the excess components are excreted from the body. The fragrance of essential oils also directly stimulate the secretion of the pituitary gland, the secretion of enzymes and hormones, etc., to balance the body's functions. Plant essential oils have high concentration, high volatility, and high permeability. They are insoluble in water, soluble in organic solvents such as grease and alcohol; plant essential oils have small molecules, are sensitive to light, and are not greasy. Because of the high volatility of plant essential oils, you must be very careful when handling or using them. The volatilization speed varies from plant to plant. 3. How to Make Biodegradable Soap for Camping

The soap-making renaissance of the 1970s came about because people wanted to be more natural, more “green”, and less dependant on chemicals in their lives. Many of today’s commercial soaps have fragrances, detergents, surfactants, and water conditioners that could very well affect plants and wildlife if deposited into a river or stream. However, the natural soaps (bar and liquid) described below can be made to be very safe and biodegradable. How to Make Earth-Friendly Camping Soap Basically, you want to make the soap (bar or liquid) without any artificial colors or fragrance oils. Essential oils safe for humans would be fine to use since they are natural materials and will degrade. Natural colorants would be okay too but probably aren’t even necessary in a soap for camping. Some articles suggest using a Castile soap. This is perfectly fine, but unnecessary. As long as you’re using natural (animal or vegetable) oils, the choice of oils isn’t going to affect the biodegradability of the soap. Other environmental purists will recommend using organic soap. If you have some organic oils to use for soap making, great but don't worry if you don't. Taking the extra effort to use only organic oils in your soap is admirable but not really necessary. Here are two natural soap-making recipes to get you started. Basic Bar Soap for Camping This recipe uses primarily olive oil as well as coconut oil and soybean oil. In order to create an environmentally conscious soap, try to avoid using palm oil due to environmental controversies surrounding palm-oil farming. The recipe is composed of: 50 percent olive oil 30 percent coconut oil 20 percent soybean oil To make about three pounds of soap, the recipe needs: 16 ounces olive oil 9.6 ounces coconut oil 6.4 ounces soybean oil 4.5 ounces lye (sodium hydroxide) 11 ounces water Follow basic soap-making instructions to create your soap. If you don’t have these exact oils, you can certainly create your own recipe; just focus on more earth-friendly oils and don’t use any artificial colors or fragrances. Basic Liquid Soap for Camping This recipe uses a zero-percent lye discount. If you don’t mind the soap being slightly cloudy and want it to be a bit milder, use a 1-to-2-percent lye discount instead. The recipe is composed of: 67 percent olive oil 33 percent coconut oil To make about three pounds of soap paste, the recipe needs: 16 ounces olive oil 8 ounces coconut oil 5.4 ounces potassium hydroxide 16.2 ounces water For liquid soap, follow basic liquid soap-making instructions—but leave out step seven, the neutralization step. And remember that natural and green doesn’t have to apply to just camping. These recipes are perfectly good for everyday bathing and showering too. The original written by David Fisher

    About the Candle Making Industry

The candle industry has grown to a multi-billion dollar industry, and market analysis reports show that this industry is going to grow even more. Candle makers are not only using paraffin wax to make candles, they are now also using gel wax, soy waxes, and other natural-based waxes. Candle companies are also complimenting their candle line with bath and body products, incense, reed diffusers, cleaning products, pet products, homemade cosmetics,  and homemade natural soaps. Consumers are becoming more aware of the superior quality of handmade candles and soap products. Handmade candles are stronger than machine-made candles, and this quality alone is getting consumers to buy handmade candles as opposed to machine-made. Consumers are also realizing that handmade natural soap is superior to store-bought soap. Natural soap lasts longer, is gentler on your skin, and does not contain the additives that store-bought soap contains. In addition to candles and soap, consumers are spending more and more money on products that SMELL GOOD. Consumers want their homes, cars, clothes, and especially themselves to Smell Good. Perfumists and scientists are working harder than ever to create unique products that support these desires and spending habits. Homemade gifts are increasing in popularity.  Instead of buying gifts for your friends and relatives, try making homemade scented products instead.  Homemade gifts always mean more to the recipients than store bought products. If you would like to enter into an industry that is exciting and creative, prosperous and still growing, Y&R would like to help you get started on your road to success!

How to choose fragrance oils to make your product

It is normal for fragrance to change color or precipitate during use, so it is recommended that customers tell us the specific use when choosing flavors. For example, when you need to purchase fragrance and go back to make white shampoo, we will replace the easily discolored raw materials in the fragrance and choose the same non-discolored raw materials. This will not affect the formula of the cream and the color of the finished product. 1. Candles and lipstick fragrances are oil-soluble 2. Most perfume fragrances are water-soluble 3. Facial creams, shampoos and body lotions mostly use fragrances that are not easy to change color
